Fly Fishing Tackle Shop

The Wild Fly Fishing in the Karoo Fly Tackle Shop is one of the best stocked fly fishing shops in the Eastern Cape of South Africa.

For those of you that remember the tiny shop in the Confessional, the shop has moved, and you can now fit more than two people in it at any one time!  The shop is packed to the rafters with almost everything you could need during your fly fishing experience, and if it's not in the shop, Alan can order it in for you.  The shop boasts a wide selection of flies specifically tied for the area, but that work all over the world, as well as rods, reels, lines, clothing and much more.

The shop has a very good selection of fly tying materials from Wapsi to Hareline, including thread, capes, tinsel, eyes and hooks.

Give Alan a call to discuss your requirements, stock can be sent all over the country.  Whilst the shop is mostly open during office hours, it is advisable to call ahead to make sure that Alan or Annabelle are in town, especially if you would like to visit us after hours. Come and have a cup of coffee with us!

We have created a gallery of the flies that are available to order, which can be viewed here: Gallery of Flies.  For more on Alan's speciality flies, please visit this page: Speciality flies

The physical shop is located at 8 Scallen Street, Somerset East, Eastern Cape, South Africa.  For telephone numbers please visit the Contact page.
